Worcester Historical Museum - Celebrate Worcester Loves to Read!

Valentine Making Workshops for kids of all ages in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 or to kids who attend Worcester schools, are the children of members of the Worcester Historical Museum, or are holders of an active Worcester Public Library Card. Learn historic Worcester valentine styles and techiniques. Make your entry into the contest or cards for family and friends at one of these five free workshops:
Tuesday, 1/17: Great Brook Valley Branch
Thursday, 1/19: Main Library, Children's Room
Monday, 1/23: Frances Perkins Branch
Monday, 1/30: Goddard School Branch
Tuesday, 1/31: Burncoat School Branch
Thursday, 2/2: Tatnuck School Branch
Friday, 2/3: Roosevelt School Branch

All workshops are from 3:30pm to 4:30pm with the exception of Burncoat which is from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.

Worcester Historical Museum provides all materials for valentine making, as well as a powerpoint presentation on the history of valentines in Worcester.
